    Trying something different to prevent overwatering

    I have a single stem umbrella tree that is getting waterlogged so I'm trying something new. I got a plastic collar cone from my vet and wrapped it closely around the stem. It fits over the edge of the pot so water runs off. Time will tell. I'll post an update in a in a couple of weeks.
