I just got my first veiled yesterday. So far he's looking good and eating well. My only main concern is I havent seen him venture to the upper part of the cage to bask just stay in the middle part kinda hidden. Do chameleons actually bask like my beardie does or no?

I ordered a nice screen cage early last week and it still isnt here yet I have plants lights and everything else but the cage. Well the breeder shipped my cham today so itll be here tomorrow mornin. what would be a good temporary cage for the lil guy? ~Adam
