So I have a total of 17 Hatchlings ranging from 1week to 2.5weeks old. I have been feeding them the larger species of flightless fruit flies and pinhead crickets. Any ways, when do I start dusting their feeders and providing them with supplements? Also, if anyone has had good results with...
This is my first clutch of Panther Eggs ever! The babies started hatching out 2-9-14 So far 6 of the 19 eggs have hatched out fully, 2 are sitting pipped and 1 more is sweating. These babies are too cute! Take a look for yourself:D
I can't believe I've made it this far!!!
So yesterday morning the first egg of my first clutch pipped! Its been 24-36 hours now and the little sucker still hasn't emerged. The eggs are in a dark closet. Do I leave a light on? Do I just wait? Do I go commando n go in there and get he/she out? What do I do? Im going crazy:eek::confused:
I just put together a palace for my panther and used a natal mahogany. Does anyone else use this plant? Is it safe?
I looked online and it has #1 toxicity, same as schefflera(which is widely used in cham enclosures.) What do you guys think?
So today as I was about to feed one of the last of five big ol' Dubia I had bought for my panther, I noticed a bunch of baby Doobie's running all around the cage:eek: Cha Ching!!! One of those suckers shot out a bunch of little ones; they look like rollie pollies. Anyways, not knowing much about...
I have just recently started incubating my first clutch of panther egg's. My female actually double clutched so I now have over 50eggs. I am very excited about what is to come, however, I am also a bit worried about how I am going to sell ALL of these babies if the majority of them hatch. I know...
So a few months ago, I found a hornworm cocoon in my chameleons substrate while cleaning out his place! Long story short, I put it aside and it just hatched from its cocoon and is now a massive Hawk Moth!!!
I would like to feed it to my fully grown ambilobe panther, however, it is a...
After a month or two of unsucessful breeding attempts, my male and female ambilobes finally mated! I thought I had a lame male cham:confused: Everytime I would put them together the female showed interest(by not darkening, gaping or retreating) and my male would do his comical head bob... But...
I just made payment for 2 Hornworm cups from Great Lake Hornworms!(our site sponsor) I'll be sure to take some pics of my panther gobbling up these bad boys! Has anyone ever placed an order from their site before? Just curious...:D
Today I noticed a quarter-inch hair thin string hanging from my male panthers vent. Its whitish-clear looking. Could this be a sperm plug? I also noticed he was much more aggressive today... he is usually very docile but today he was hissing and opening up his mouth. Whats the deal? Thoughts?
