Getting veiled cham to eat fruits/veggies

I have a female veiled chameleon, about 18 months old, who is a great eater except that she doesnt touch fruits or vegetables. She will wolf down any feeder insect, grub, worm, even thawed frozen mice but she doesnt ever touch the fruits and vegetables I place in her enclosure. Any advice?

Looking for cham in the NYC/Long Island area

I'm looking to buy a male veiled chameleon from someone local - dont want to pay for or risk shipping - and don't know if I'll be making it to a White Plains show anytime soon. I'd be open to other species as well but prefer a Veiled. Please PM details if you have any available - location...

    Veiled Chameleon growth chart

Does anyone have one? I've read quite a few threads asking about a cham's health and size, especially regarding females and judging if they are growing too fast and at risk for egg binding. I'd like to see a chart that has average growth rates and age/sizes for use as a reference.

Is this caterpillar safe to feed ?

Something's been decimating my leafy vegetables this season. I thought it was snails or slugs so set out beer traps to no avail. Tonite I went out ahunting and found these caterpillars. Anyone know what they are? Are they safe to feed to my veiled ( no pesticides used in my garden ) ?

    My new Veiled

I've more or less given up hope on finding my lost cham ( though I still have an enclosure for him if he turns up ) and bought a new baby. He was purchased from Debbie @ Beeger Boxes at the last White Plains show. He's 2 months old ( correct me if I'm wrong Debbie ) and seems to be a 'he'. I'll...

    Any NYC area Veiled breeders?

I thought I'd see if I can find any local breeders of Veiled Chameleons before trying the next White Plains show. I'm in Suffolk county Long Island and am looking for one or two Veiled chameleons 2-6 months old. If you have any, please PM or email me with pertinent info such as price (duh!)...

    Breeding Silkworms and/or Hornworms

I want to setup some breeding stations for hornworms and/or silkworms before the White Plains show so that, with it being summer, I can try my hand at breeding them while I have some free time. I've read a couple of sites ( chiefly the manduca project ) but wanted to see what experiences people...

    WTB - Young Veiled chameleons

I've pretty much given up hope of finding my cham alive at this point ( pretty nasty weather the last few days ). I'm looking for young ( not younger than 2 months though ) male and/or female veiled chameleon. Prefer someone local to the NYC/Long Island area so that I can see them first but...
