Here's my Chuck G boy from Blizzard, haven't named him yet. Around 5.5 months and looking awsome. :D He gets nice and white, but I don't have a pic of that. Sorry for photo quality, just using my cell.
If anyone else has a Chuck Faly, post a pic!
Thought he was sleeping:
Are there any reasons that an ambilobe male would spend time at the bottom of a cage? I had other posts about him being small for his age and mentioned that maybe he is a she, but he is blue (though not really colorful for an ambilobe). Now I catch him daily going to the bottom of the cage...
I see other peoples pics of ambilobe males much younger with more color and size. I was curious if this was more common than I think with other keepers. Tyson turned 1 year in February. He is around 5" nose to vent.

Any ideas on keeping up the RH? I have a 18" x 18" x 36" screened enclosure with live plants, automatic misting system 3x/day for 5 minutes. The RH goes to 55 - 60% when misting, but after 5 minutes it is back in the low 40's. I was going to get some plexiglass for a couple of sides, but used...
What do you think? Boy or Girl? He is showing some green and redand I think I see the small bump at the base of the tail, but he is showing some circular patterns on the side, which I thought meant a girl.

I have a complete chameleon setup for sale. Our little one passed on and my wife can't go through trying to nurse another one back to health if something were to go wrong, so I have been forbidden to get anymore chams (for now). Anyhow, here's what I have:
18" x 18" x 36" Screened Cage...
I have a young Sambava (aprox 5 months) and I think he may have fell. His back legs and even tail are not moving and he is climbing and hanging around only using his front legs.
Setup:
2x2x3 screen enclosure
Reptisun 5.0
Heat lamp
live umbrella plant
some fake plants, branches, etc...
I just set up an automatic misting system (DIY with diaphragm pump), but I know standing water is not a good thing in the cage. So, do you guys use some type of bubble stone or something to keep the water in the resevoir moving? It seems like water sitting there could produce some bad stuff too.
I was looking into buying either 500 or 1000 crickets to reduce cost, but how long do they live (when in good conditions)? I only have 1 cham and he eats 15 a day, so 500 would be like a months worth. Will 1/2" crickets live for a month or will half of them die anyway?
What is the appropriate size for a young veiled to eat? His head is maybe a 1/2" between the eyes. I have read that that is the size of the cricket he should be eating. At a reptile show, I was told he should be eating at least 3/4". What is the consensus here?
Does anyone have a model that is recommended? I have seen Shurflo units that do 1 GPM @ 45 and have seen other models with higher flow and pressure. Anyone using these? What model(s)?
I noticed that Godzilla has been keeping his left eye closed a lot. I also see him bulging it. I think he may have gotten some of the calcium powder in it when he was reeling in a cricket. Should I try to flush it out with water or is it time for his first vet visit? Any ideas are appreciated:D
Here is my new veiled. My son has named him Godzilla:D. Just wanted to show him off and see if anyone had any recommendations. I have had him for two days now and he eats one cricket out of the 5 that I put in the feeder (modified milk jug) and then takes off. Is this just because he is...
I have had reptiles in the past (tegu, monitors, iguana, skinks), but new to the cham. I purchased the 65 reptarium and have a cb baby male veiled to be shipped when I am ready, but I also purchased the Habba mister before seeing these forums and according to everything on this site, it will...
