I would be interested to hear how much was the vet able to help you when you were having a problem with you cham or did the help remain on a diagnosis level?

Since I feed my chams wild cought grasshoppers I tried to keep them alive and healthy as long as possible, but they keep on dieing after 3 days or so.
Did anyone have the same experience and did anyone try to breed them and raise succesfully?
I keep them in plastic containers and feed them...
Here are some pics of my dilepis...a lovely cham, but Heika diagnosed mbd after I noticed some upsetting deformations of the front legs. It can't be seen from the pic as it is the right front leg, but it looks like he is recovering :)
I am hoping for the best...also, if anyone has some advice...
I am wondering where do chameleons get calcium in their natural habitat? If the insects that they eat are so low in calcium and if most of the species are arboreal and rarely come to the ground where they might find some, how do they get it???

I have recently seen many interesting chams in the pet store, but they all require a significant drop of temperature during the night, which is impossible for me to achive during the summer (rudis, hoehnelli, ellioti).
I am now wondering which species are heat tollerant and do not need those...

Can someone tell me what species are those? I got them as brevicaudatus but as soon as I received them I saw this is somethine else...is it temporalis?
Also, are they male and female? I still can't make the difference for sure...
Anyway, they are both eating and drinking well... :)
