So thought I snap some picks when I was done cleaning their cage and letting them get a short bask in the sun.
This weekend I be needing to separate them as I have a few that are growing much faster then the others, thankfully no bullying yet though.
Most are already eating roach nymphs and...
So here is a question - is it always true that infertile eggs will be an off white/ yellow color?
on an up date only one eggs looks a spotted off color and that is the one that is smaller then the rest circled in red on the bottom right of the first photo also the last photo it is the one on...
So got home from work last night around 2:30 am and couldn't wait to see if she had layed and sure enough she had layed and buried them.
So the dig was on . . . . 33 eggs!!!
the only stuff i could find around town is the fine vermiculite made from some place in Arizona
just wondering if it will be okay to incubate the eggs in?
So put Tetty for her second time in the laying bucket, after having found her up stairs and in our room sunday night(she nevers leaves her cage) then today she stopped eating.
So peeked in 30 min later at most and low and behold she was digging
stinks that i have to work till 2 am Wednesday...
So i've had my Veiled chameleons for 5 months
the male is about 14inches in length
the female is around 12-13 in length
they are housed seperately in hanging enclosers( no screen no sides)
the have pothos, and umbrella plants the temperatures verys greatly
depending on where you take it...

5.0 repti-sun (8-10 inches from perch)
heat 150watt ziilla light (10-12 inches from perchs)
still working on the drip
so i spay it multipul times a day
last week we purchased our first two chameleons
they are young veiled
yesterday i put together the first cage for them
in the next few weeks i'll be building another one
so they can be separated
