My veiled cham is almost 2 years old. His D3 and house bulb light are scheduled to go on at 9am and off at 9pm. Lately he's been going to sleep like an hour, sometimes even 2 hours before his lights go off. Is he sick?

I want to know if this is normal. I've had my veiled chameleon for 3 weeks [he's about 2 1/2 months old] and his poop was black with white tips all pretty solid, but now the black is still pretty solid but the white is completely runny.
