So yeah. It's 1 human year = 7 dog years.
I'm gonna estimate around 1 human year = 18 panther years?
Considering I see most well-kept panthers living to 4+ years it seems about right. Anyone else wanna chime in? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I've been thinking about this all...
Hey all, just an update on my boys. The perfect NJ weather has allowed me to bring all of them out for sun almost everyday and they are loving it.
First up is King Koby, my Ambanja. He is approximately 9 months old now and he's been a joy to have. He is the chill one of the group and has...
Got this little dude on Thursday morning and made sure he got a taste of some perfect NJ weather outside in the sun. Misted him heavily and he started to shed later in the day. Decided to let him settle in the first day and get rid of the rest of his shed before I took any more pictures of him...
I've gotten to take him out into the sun for the past few days and he seems more happy too. He is overdue for a shed anytime now and I can't wait to see what's coming next. Here is my boy King Koby!
Little Fatty
 Greetings fellow chameleon enthusiasts!
Haven't posted in a while, so here is a little update on my chams.
Here is Nucky popping a shed a little over a month ago.
Lookin fierce for the camera lol
Start of Basking
Really Basking
King Koby enjoys basking too...
Little guy popped a shed for me yesterday. You can still see he has some shed near his eye. He is approaching 5 months and growing quite fast. He has a calm disposition and never hisses/puffs up... has quite the appetite as well. I am very happy him :D
Both popped sheds for me on the same day a few days ago. Both are around the 6-inch mark and growing fast. Been doing the Repashy test on them and dusting with calcium All-in-one before feedings. Gutloading with the Dino Fuel Raptor Edition too, and so far, I like the results. :D
The Ambanja...
Seems like I just got him yesterday, but he's now over a year old and still as adventurous and friendly as he was the day I got him. :D Ace was feeling photogenic so I decided to mess around with the new camera today.
Next one is with No Flash. Kinda blurry still learning how to use...
Little bugger made it here 2 hours late yesterday and nearly gave me a heart-attack. He has settled in nicely and seems very friendly because he willingly crawled onto my finger today. He is my little gem... haven't decided what to name him though. Shout out to Chuck G for being the man...
:( My poor baby... He was the one with the attitude, the feisty cham I've always wanted. Always remember him for having the prettiest shade of blue. He died in my arms on the way to the vet... he looked like he was in such pain the last few hours of his life. Ever seen a grown man cry? I'm...
This is the first problem I've ever had with my chams and I'm very worried about my little guy.
Just yesterday he basking normally, drinking normally, and hunting insects normally.
Today I found what I suspect to be regurgitated dubia and he seems very weak now. His eyes are sunken in and...
Thinking about using 10.0 instead of 5.0
Any reason not to? My cages all have excellent amounts of foliage in case my cham needs shade. Can't think of a reason not to switch. They will last me much longer, that's for sure.
Thoughts?
I am currently planning to build a 12x8 foot greenhouse for my chams and possible future chams. Does anyone have any extensive experience with the construction of a chameleon greenhouse? Such as... What equipment to get for humidity and temperature control/monitoring/auto-maintenance? I'm...
