Wow-you know you have not been on in awhile when there are 3000+ new posts! My lizard herd is alive and well, I am hatching out baby crested geckos by the second it seems. Work has kept me plenty busy, and my granddaughter who is going to be one in October. And, as many of you know, my...
Jared Cain-Your female unexpectedly dropped babies on me last night. 3 were ill formed and did not make it. 5 are alive but do not seem to be doing well. Tonight when I got home from work they were all sleeping, and weirdly enough by touching them they woke up and ate fruit flies-but now...
I checked this morning, and found these two! These are from my red orange breeding pair, and the eggs were pretty dented when I found them. Right under 70 days incubation.
I am pretty excited about this dark guy!
This one appears to be shedding right out of the egg?
And both of them:
Hey everyone, I am still around, just have not been on the forum much lately! I have added an obsession to my crazy life! Horses! All of the cham/reptile herd are doing great! Here are a few pics:
Attack Mellers! Major Mellers hates, hates, hates the camera and will strike an attack pose...
She was bred to Bruce (FL WC Veiled) 5/01 and is as I type stamping down the EcoEarth over her eggs. Since it has only been 20 days I am sure hoping they are fertile! Anyone want to venture a guess on how many eggs? :p
Anyone miss me? :p Anyways-I am still around, just have not been posting as much. I am happy to answer PM's, so don't hesitiate to ask away. Chams are all doing great, Comet is digging test holes, baby Flappers are growing like crazy, and Crested geckos should start hatching any day...
My broken toe set me back a few weeks, but I have finally gotten to pairing these Veileds! My males are HUGE! I am always afraid, especially with the initial aggressiveness they display that they will hurt the females, but so far they have been pretty good.
Bruce and Comet: (Bruce is a WC...
As far as personality goes, you just cannot beat a Veiled. They are all so unique, and strange in their own little ways!
Comet-Comet was the little female that I rescued along with the skin diseased male. If you go near the cage she is hoping you have food. She is interestingly colored...
So now that the little Elliots have acclimated well, I decided to put them together. He went all body bobbing (they are too small to bob just the head) and at first she just walked right over him. Next he tried to mount and she was not having it. She was trying to bite, and when she finally...
Everyone finished shedding and were a little fired up over cricket-night! The male and first female are from Ryan J-and the second female is from Catherine Adams...I currently have 2 eggs cooking from these guys.

Female #2:
Tonight one of my female crested geckos is digging in a plant pot. This will be the first clutch that any of my females has laid, and they are all a year and 1/2 old! I want baby cresties! :p
LOL-I am so excited I can't spell digging!
Do you have clutches of Veileds or Panthers due to hatch around April and May you will need homes for? I am looking for a few to buy. I only sell locally and at our local shows, and take the time to talk to all prospective buyers about set up and care. I also offer lifetime support to these...
Infertiles as I have not bred her. She stopped eating on Thursday and started wandering around the bottom of the cage and checking out the laying bin. This always makes me nervous! :(
Wasabi is a female Veiled nearing a year old.
Here is Mr. Fisher-I have not taken pics of him recently but he needed a good cage cleaning!
Ted Tortoise!
Tim, after yet another shed...

Calling all Tampa Bay Herpers!
Tonight I joined and attended my first meeting of the Suncoast Herpetological Society. Great group of reptile loving people! They meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Mocassin Lake Park in Clearwater at 7PM. As if I didn't spend enough time here on the...
This guy literally glows. He just shed again and I had to share. He is a Nosbilobe from a pairing that had proven the female to not be a Nosy as I thought she was. I hatched him Sept-ish of 09.
