Why does my panther always want out of his cage. nothing has changed and he recently has been crawling to the bottom of his cage and ripping up the papertowles trying to get out of his cage. he spends most of the hours of the day doing this and i dont have enough time to take him out everyday...
so i ust got a new digital thermometer because the analog ones just break too easy. i was reading the temps in my panthers cage and the lower 1/2 was reading 68* but the basking was at 91*. i have a 125watt solar glow mercury vapor and a reptisun 5.0. i know both bulbs provide uvb but it was...

my 8 mo old panther had a case of MBD when he was around 4 months, his right front leg is deformed from it but the rest of him seems fine accoring to the vet. recently he has been climbing on the screen almost non stop no matter how much foliage/ vines i put in there. he has fell a few times...

has anyone ever wondered why male veilds have spurs? i know in captivity it helps us identify males from females but do they really serve any purpose in the wild?
so i recently added a pothos and a small ficus in my veileds cage and he started eating both of them as soon as i let him in there. i know the pothos is okay but i thought i read somewhere that ficus plants were okay but had some sort of toxin in them or somthing. i removed the ficus and was...
so i havnt seen my cham eat in front of me for a while even tho i know he was eating. i decided to put a few crix in a bin and let him cup feed. he shot at a cricket in the cornner and caught another cricket that was hopping in the air while his tounge was zipping by. i had to take another look...

:( my lil cham seemed to have developed MBD alost over night. he was fine two days ago climbing and hissing at me like he normally does and i didnt see any problems. I took him out later last night and noticed his two front legs were bowed and now he can barely even use them! the fore arms seem...
I'm confused on what to do with my ball python Taj. He is about 2 1/2 to 3ft and he eats once a week and I'm not sure if this is too much for him? I know your supposed to dwindle down their food when they get older and bigger but he seems to show agression when I don't feed him every week.
