What do you guys use to secure your branches in your cage. I have been using thumb tacks on the outside edge of the screen but I always have problems with the tacks popping out or the branches twirling when my Cham traverses across them.

I am going to be building a stand for my enclosure the plant will be potted into the stand and the cage screen cage will sit on top of it. Is there any type of a wood that is a no no? or rather what is a recommended type of wood to use that will not cause any health issues with my Veiled Cham.
I want to add some climbing branches for my Cham and I don't want to pay for them. Can I cut any limbs out of any type of tree and use them as long as they are cleaned first? Example: Scrub Oak tree.

My Veiled cham is still young approx 2 months old, I have read that he can eat vegetables on a few different sites. I cant find any info as to what types, or how old he should be before I offer it. Any information would be loads of help
