I took him outside yesterday morning and got a few small pictures.
Here are some other pictures i took recently too, just to document his growth.
He was relaxing on his fake tree in my office
His hatch date was around April 1st. And he has so much color already in excited for him to grow up. What do you think? This is him in his pjs and a pic while cruising around.
Seagram settles in.. Baby panther pics
Seagram arrived last week and I've been letting him get acclimated. He is loving his big cage and I see him take full advantage of the space. Never even climbs on the screen. Basking spots seem to suit him well also as he has a few he regularly stretches...
I saw this magazine cover at petsmart when I was there with my friends to buy fish, and decided to buy the mag just to see what they had published as a care sheet and guide to owning panther chameleons. I was actually quite surprised and relieved at the accuracy of the article and how well it...
I have a new chameleon on order and I decided before it arrives I'd like to redo the enclosure.
Before I touched it up the wood was starting to show through in some spots. It was dirty and stained and needed a total refresher.
First I scrubbed and cleaned all the interior parts of the...
His name is Ciroc (pronounced Sir Rock) and we just got him today. He has been patrolling the yard already. 40lb male sulcata
He is so great! hope everyone likes him
Been a while since i posted, but the weather is great here in AZ. Had my chams out today on my newly planted trees so they could soak up some sun!
Here you go!
Heisenburg is my male, pretty fiesty, and somewhat camera shy..
And my female Remy is very easy going. She already laid one...
so my little peach tree is blooming and I like to let me chams hang out in it for some sun time. But I don't want them to eat the blossoms if they are toxic. So until I find out. They are gonna be chilling in my fake tree.
Tldr: peach blossoms safe for veiled chams?
So its been 13 days since they were laid. Is this red polka dot common?all the eggs have this on them. I'm gonna toss them out unless anyone thinks they are fertile and this Is normal but u couldn't find anything online .
More great weather here in az. Stuck Heisenburg outside for the better part of the afternoon.
Cant help but take pictures of my little guy, hes irresistable!
Hope you guys like it. He is about 5 mos now and I cant get enough.
Been trying to earn his trust since i bought him.. Today he finally took the 2 worms i offered..
Got a pick of the second worm, Extra large =-)
very happy he is learning to trust me!
So I think my lady is ready to lay. She was crawling around on the bottom of her cage. I didn't really see any holes or interest in her small box. So I put her in the big lay bin.
what I need to know is should I put a heat lamp on her while in the big bin? It just seems really cool and I wanna...
SO with my cage having drainage issues i needed a major fix. It was my day off today and it was perfect out side, so I move few plants to the middle of my yard and took my two veiled out to bask. They loved IT! but still hated when my dogs sniffed around.
Heres what i did to the cage...
This is my enclosure with just a small playsand in the bottom. any larger and i fear it might break with my big plants. Once she starts to dig i have a Huge one to put her in. cant hardly move that..
anyways, i really do think she is pregnant, infertile most likely, as she displays some...
My little girl seems rather chubby, i want to make sure that she is not gravid with eggs, i feel she is very young so i dont think that is the case.
Here is a pic with a measure tape, she is just under 5 inches from snout to vent. Her weight is 73 grams on my scale.
Also she is showing some...
