Hi, I noticed my veiled hadn't been eating lately. I wasn't sure why, his temps are perfect, he has 5.0 uvb, and many (fake) plants and branches to climb on. I just got a three month old veiled chameleon from a recent reptile expo, and I have a few questions 1. Is substrate really that bad ? I've read that I shouldn't put substrate in the bottom because he might ingest it. But I like it because it holds moisture and makes the cage look a lot nicer...
