    What are your basking temps?

    July 2020 Photo Contest

If my Cham HAD MBD, is he still eligible? He has the “double elbows”, but is otherwise strong and healthy...

    Grow light

The temp. would be good, but I’m worried about the heat transfer. He goes up there when he’s cold, and based on fecal examination, seems fine.

    Grow light

Thx, any thoughts about whether the temp. is good enough? I’m pretty sure the uvb is good, any thoughts otherwise? He can also access his viv from the setup, and does have sufficient heat/uvb there.

    Grow light

When I don’t let him climb the wire, he’ll climb onto his viv and attempt climbing his lamps, which is much worse, so idk if that’ll help.

    Grow light

    Thanks!

    Grow light

Here he‘s in his favourite place, just below the light. I’ve tried moving the wire so he could not climb it, but he instead went for his heat lamps. (He was not burned, but I put the wire back and he never touched the lamps again)

    Grow light

So I have a temporary free range setup for my ambilobe panther, and a tropical grow light for the plants (umbrella tree, pothos, spider plant). Leo loves climbing the wire onto it, as the surface warms to about 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Alongside the uvb it produces, is this okay for longer than...

    Find the difference!

The breeder’s a panther breeder, not a veiled, I just wanted to see any health issues, and I’m used to saying “he” not “she”

    Find the difference!

Hmmm. Showed it to a breeder, and he said he didn’t look great... btw it’s the petsmart website chameleon picture.

    Find the difference!

Between the pic and the typical, healthy Cham.

    Find the difference!

Find the difference between the above photo, and a healthy veiled cham! Plus, guess where he’s from!

    New lovebird!

She doesn’t bite, but once she climbed down my arm and waddled around on the table to try to get at a plate of chili!

    New lovebird!

She’s half gray half violet and turned out heavy pied violet

    New lovebird!

Recently got 4 month old Fischer’s Lovebird named Sweetpea!

    Ugh petco and petsmart...

Never get fish from petsmart either- got fish three different times, all died within a month after buying. Same species from petland lived four years.

Chameleon Sticking Tongue Out- is this Normal?

I’m doing everything that the breeder told me to do, I have the bulb that he recommended, Leo is as strong as he was before, I have corrected everything, and we are currently building a new cage for him- he seems fine! What could be wrong?

Chameleon Sticking Tongue Out- is this Normal?

My juvenile panther chameleon has recently started keeping his mouth slightly open, leaving his tongue out for extended lengths of time. He recently got over MBD, so he sometimes grabs his lip rather than the branch- maybe that irritated the area? Also, we got him a new umbrella plant. is this...

Why is my Cham grabbing his face?

    I agree... Female.

    RIP Shelly... 2016 - 2019

Sorry for your loss. I myself have lost a chameleon. Did you breed her? Females live longer (as long as males) if you don't breed them.
