Rex, veiled cham, about 6 months old plus minus.
5.0 UVB, basking at mid 90's, mistingtwice a day, and auto spraying , dusting.
He was eating just fine, now last couple of weeks, not eating much, maybe one-two cricks or super worms a day, sometime skips a day.
not a big eater. Just not to...
Thanks roo.
yes, I dust them every feeding.
How do you expect them, do you just take them by hand out of tank?
How do they react to handling?
What is the best way of doing it?
I got my pygmys last week.
what a joy. I can't stop watching them :)
Here is few questions:
Should I kill all left over crickets before night? Or just live them for the next day.
DO I trow just had full cricks in the tank and let them be, or few per cham and till they are gone then put some...
Petsmart has 15 days money back deal, what you do is buy that female, have her pay egs, and then take her back :) YOu keep the egs :)
How about that???
At this age you should be only feeding him once every 2 or 3 days.
So stop feeding him for about 3 days and then try again.
In the wild at the rainy seasons they go without the food for up to a month, so this is very healthy to give them brake here and there
You lizards will eat pygmys in no time.
You have to keep them in separate tank for sure.
They do eat everything you listed and more.
They don't really need vertical tanks, 16" high tank will do just fine.
Ok, here is what you do:
Measure temperature at basking spot.
Measure humidity level at middle of the cage.
How often you mist?
DO you have dripping system?
Do you see him drinking at all?
Post some pics if you can.
DO you dust food?
With what?
This is pretty much only chameleon you can have in the glass tank, for all the other kinds you will need screen cage
