I just used it. Hopefully you don't delete this one Brad ;)
With my last photo, I added caption in microsoft paint as I had no clue how to ad caption. Hopefully this program is okay to use :)
PS. Thanks Rocky
I've caught wild ones here in Ontario and they weren't even close to that size. My chams will pick off the grasshoppers before the crickets and roaches everytime!
Thank you to everyone who voted for my photo this month as there were a few deserving photos. The judging panel does a great job making sure the best photograph wins, not the most popular or the best species. It has been this way for a long time, nothing has changed.
If they aren't reproducing, your heat is too low. Up the temps to between 95F and 100F on one side of your enclosure with heat tape or a heat mat. Also, leave them alone. If you disturb them too often, they tend not to breed as well.
When I was linked to Ken Rockwells site, it totally changed my mind. DSLR is the way to go if you want photo quality. Point and Shoots are good if you carry them around with you all the time.
If you want easy functionabiliy, get a point and shoot. If you want the ability to take top quality...
I've offered them before to a few of my WC Adult Panthers but only one was interested in them. I don't bother with them anymore and just stick to crickets, roaches and superworms.
How did I know Justin would chime in :p I totally agree with Justin though. I almost purchased the same camera that you did until I was more informed about DSLR cameras from Justin and a few other wonderful people here. I love the Nikon D40.
It's all what works best for you though. A point...
