Off topic but
the hemp in all of your products is grown outside of the United States it is illegal to cultivate in the Untied States. And if your are only going to the show for reptiles it seems like a waste IMO.
Because of the new ban 3 python species can not be imported anymore: the Yellow Anaconda, African Rock Python, and the Burmese Python. The law stills allows them to be kept but now with no genetic variability these species are doomed to health problems and inbreeding. Now that they have banned...
Update on him
He got baytril for his URI and they bill came to only $18 because my dad had a credit with them because they made a mistake on his bill for his dog's checkup. Also he was weighed and weighs 280 grams. Is that a good weight?
Yee i just scheduled an appointment for him at 3:20
I have used this vet before for my leopard gecko they are really expensive but the only on in my area that dies reptiles and is open on sundays.
ok i am worried about him
Do you think its a good idea to have him on two treatments at once? Also I found a vet does exotics that is open on sundays. I believe he has had a uri for a while but he does not show mucus or gapes. How long do uri's take to treat if caught in the early stage?
If those are signs of a uri i think my veiled has one. Right now he is on pancur for parasite's and is only on the 2nd week of a 4 week treatment. Do I wait or start the treatment for RI as well?
Try other foods
like Roaches, Wax Worms, Silkworms, Super Worms, and Giant Meal Worms. My veiled used to do that when he was younger but you just cant give in he will eat when he wants to.
I have a timer
I just have not set it up yet the instructions are kind of confusing it is a digital model. I provide her calcium and vitamins in a Gatorade cup and she licks them when she needs them, I replace them everytime I clean her cage. Yes she has one humid hide and one dry hide .
So during spring break which was around 12 days I had a little too much fun and got up late and went to bed late. My reptiles were were still on a 12/12 hour cycle but at different times of the day. Since then my leopard gecko has not eaten but is still drinking water and has not lost weight...
I have noticed these on my veiled for a little while now like a week or two. What are they? They are not hard they are soft almost like fat tissue. They are also on both sides of his face.
Well you could go to central america
for a vacation and go on a herping safari. Then if you find one just put it in your pants before you board and hope you dont get caught:)
The sound is made only a few times during the night
He has lumps on both sides of his jaw though I will make a new thread with pictures when I get home from school
Yes he has the white crusts on his nostrills
I will have to scheduele a vet appointment on the weekend I know this may sound bad but what am I looking at in terms of cost to treat a URI? I will do anything to treat my cham I am just low on cash right now.
For about a week somtimes my chameleon snores during the night. I know this is a sign of uri but this is the only sign he shows. He does not gape or have excess saliva, or tilt his head upword. Can snooring be normal?
