Hello Fool and Welcome. I'm a newbie here myself and I just got my first Chameleon on Wednesday. He is a Veiled and he's a sweetie (so far). I did tons on research on chameleons before I purchased Titus, but I have to say that it has helped. Although when you do get one, it seems like there...
Thanks for the information. I have been misting and using the dripper. His poop today was good, except still yellow/orange color urates. I'm thinking that he'll snap out of this soon, after all drinking is a god given instinct.
I think that every species of Chameleon has it's own special uniqueness. I was first drawn to the Panthers, but changed my mind and went with a veiled. I think that the colors of the blue blood lines and hi orange blood lines are beautiful. I wish I had room (and Money)for more Chameleons...
Thanks Jaxygirl, carol 5208,benpaul,and Gensen, I hope I didn't leave anyone out. Thanks for the encouragement and support. Yes, I do need to just relax and let him get acclimated. I will continue to do as you suggest with misting and hopefully soon he'll figure it out and be a happy little...
Thanks Jaxygirl, I will try and get more photos at another time. It's hard when he is in the cage, and I'm trying not to stress him out to much by getting him out to take more shots. Thanks for the support and suggestions:)
Thanks Carlton for your support and comments. I have been trying...

I have a 5 month old Veiled Chameleon that I got yesterday his name is Titus. He is doing well, but is showing signs of possible illness. Yesterday I commented that he has a small bump on his eye terret(?) now today it looks like he has white stuff on his nostrils. He fell again today off the...
This is the second day that I have had Titus my 5 month old Veiled. He is eating well. He had a huge poop, but the urates were mostly yellow with some white. I am misting him often, 4 times a day. Any suggestions or comments. I'm not too worried at this point because of his appetite. I am...
Thanks Beeze, I definately need to do a little more for him. I am very pleased with him and Chameleons Northwest. I have spoken to C/N about the thing on his eye and they think there's a good chance that it is a piece of shed and it will fall off. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Thanks, I will get a better picture in the morning. He is a little camera shy. Sandy and Ellliot from Chameleons Northwest are not available for 10 days.
I just noticed that he has a small white dot/bump on his right eye lid. Doesn't look like it bothers him. You can see it if you look at the picture of him looking straight on in the camera from the pics I posted earlier. Now I worried. Does anyone know what this might be?
Thanks, yes he is quite a looker. Manik6, yes, I am looking to get more foilage. I am currently looking for a shefflera. I also think I need more vines. Thanks for the kind comments to all.
