    are you having dehydration issues or low humidity? If not, then you don't need to do showers if you have the time to do manual mistings.

    Well, many factors can be taken into consideration, like the species, the humidity levels, signs of dehydration, etc... Mine are set up as follows: Mister 1 is set up to mist for about 30 seconds every 4hrs. Mister 2 is set up to mist for 60secs. Avery 6hrs.

    We metabolize vitamins different than reptiles,... But sun light is a constant for this particular problem. ....great excuse to go to the beach!:)

    She is beautiful! She looks great.... Jusdging from her looks, you are doing a good job with her. --any changes in behavior, appetite or sleep may be a sign something's up... So have you noticed any changes?

    The species housed is a Jackson's chameleon (3 months old). I have another cage in the same room, with the same specs, and abvously the same problem. it will house a 4month old ambilobe panther chameleon that just arrived.

    HERE IS MY PROBLEM. I HAVE AN ALL ALUMINUM CAGE 16x16x30 (REPTIBREEZE, BLACK). I HAVE A EXO-TERRA MONSOON RS400 (MISTING SYSTEM) RUNNING 90 SECONDS AVERY 6 HRS. THE CAGE IS FURNISHED WITH LIVE FICUS BENJAMINA TREE, PLUS VINES, AND THE SUBSTRATE IS COCONUT BARK. THE DIGITAL HYGROMETER READS 35%...

    well, it seem the vet knows what he/she is doing. Keep an eye on your cham to see any other symptoms or signs of recovery.

    I would go back to the vet and let him/her know what the problem is. --one question for you, did you check that the vet you visited is expirienced with chams? ....some vets out there are no good with reptiles. Make sure your has experience.

    HELLO THERE! yes this species gives birth to live young. --for the size you mentioned, they may not be full grown. Regardless, you really need to separate them, and put them in their own screen cage. specially if the female is gravid (pregnant). I would hate for you to loose them both because...
