congrats on receiving your new items!
The cage is great for a sub adult and adult chameleon. if your cham is a juvinile you may want to get a smaller cage to rear him or her. the flourecent fixture if good for the uvb 5.0 bulb. --- I'm not sure the lightbulb you pictured will be...
If you don't want to keep the wax worm in the fridge, just buy what your cham will consume in a week (right now that she needs to recover. At southbay tropical you can buy as little as 10 wax worms for about $1
Are you talking about the heat source light bulb? ...then 78F at the closest perching branch is not that bad. Though, you may want to raise that temp a bit more for a vield.
Fix the little issues we have pionted out already, and give her some time to adjust. You will find her being more active in the day if everything goes well.:)
Try and visit PETCO again. They sell veiled chams in San Diego. I have visited 3 different stores that had them. And offcourse, the staff knew nothing about how to keep them propperly, they just hand out a "care sheet" that doesn't really give you the information needed to kepp them healthy.
I know the place! ...and i know who they get their chams from. they have more than just reptiles, but maybe your focus was on the reptiles to begin with.;) ....there are only 2 people in there that actually know about chams,.... the rest of them will only try to make a sale.
But don't...

I'm Chula Vista also. I live right off of Olympic parkway. ...Keep us updated on the progress of your baby. feel free to message anytime, if i can be of any help.
