    Quick question :)

Is he using all his limbs? My veiled took a fall when he got sick and injured one of his arms, it was more like a foot though.

The rescue jax doing well :)

So nice to see this guy is doing well. After having my own experience trying to rescue a cham I really love to see success. Keep up the good work!

    My new baby

Adorable. I always thought the name Nigel would be cool for a cham. I just like really average names other than that such as "Joe" lol, as do others on here. Seems to fit their personalities, or maybe mine XD. -Sometimes you have to just wait and see when you get them and a name will click!

    Hiccuping Chameleon

This is exactly what my cham was doing and I was worried about an RI. My vet ruled out an RI, I have no idea why he does this. But he even did it while he was asleep one night https://www.chameleonforums.com/respiration-question-117830/

    Heat lamp vs incandescent

I was recommended the PAR20 halogen 50 watt flood bulbs and now use them and my Cham loves it. You can find them at Home Depot for like 5 dollars. 9 inches from an angle I get about 87 degrees. The light is very natural and 50 watt puts out the perfect amount of heat on that bulb

    repashy issues

Yes as Kate said. Repashy now makes a calcium plus LOWD version. Idk what issues you are talking about but this stuff is safe for your cham

Dino fuel or big burger, which do you use?

Something went wrong with my order. Tom totally fixed it and it shipped fast! Scratch what I said about shipping there was just some unusual issue. It was even the bigger size!

    Superworm addiction

Yes I understand that. I want to give him the variety but atm his panacur routine requires that I don't put him on a strike to fix that. I'll ignore those tips from that guy haha I asked him about the dosage. He said a very small drop would be about .03 of a cc. So one drop out of the little...

What do you use as a separator between cages in a long line?

It all works I guess, this stuff is super cheap though.

What do you use as a separator between cages in a long line?

I don't remember what it's called but that plastic cardboard looking stuff works great. It's waterproof too. Its the same stuff that real estate places make those lawn signs with. They sell it in black or white at home depot for pretty cheap. However, you could get any color you like at a sign...

    Safe to be wet.

Thanks, yes I was a bit worried because he lets himself stay wet, he doesn't rush for the basking site right after. I thought it would make him freezing being cold blooded but hey I could be wrong.

Question on my UVB and heat

Just use the reptisun 5.0 to be safe, majority of people use it without issues including very successful chameleon breeders. People also use the 10.0 without problems ( I think the only difference is the distance they reach, not the amount of UVB their putting out, but I could be wrong, so i...

When is big to big for an enclosure????

I use one of those 1 gallon distilled water jugs that is not clear. Use aluminum mesh from home depot(in the screen section). I seal the edges with hot glue or the bugs burrow underneath the mesh, and use duct tape around the edges of the jug that I cut, here is quick picture I just took, its...

When is big to big for an enclosure????

Sounds like it would be awesome! I dont see anything wrong with the extra space. But as absolutbill pointed out, I have a RL friend who free ranges chameleons in his high ceilings. They NEVER come down..even with vines that let them come down to your level. you have to get a latter to reach...

    Safe to be wet.

I looked through this forum and can't get a solid answer and my paranoia always gets the best of me so I double check! haha I recently got a raindome from aquazamp. My panther chameleon loves it... He sits under it the whole time its on literally drenching himself like a carwash haha. I have...

    Superworm addiction

Thanks Sandra, always refreshing hearing from you. Okay yes I went to try and feed him dubias this morning and he was over it. I put some panacur in a cap and rubbed a superworm in it coated in Repashy cal+(LOD).... im very sure there was enough panacur on there(atleast a drop stayed on the...

    A very hard decision

I've seen this too many times... giant monitor lizards in tiny cages... hoards of adult chams crammed in a cage with eachother. In all honesty... the beardies are okay those guys are troopers. IMO - You can tell this guy what he's doing wrong, he already knows it (unless he is just...

    Superworm addiction

Yes I took superworms out of his diet. He ate one cricket off the side of his cage today and he went for a 2nd and missed but was over it after that (he has never been a bullseye) I left some in his feeder cup(made with mesh so they crawl up and down it) and now he is just pacing up and down...
