She seemed fine, appeared to be large and gravid. Stopped eating like she was going to lay, timing was right for egg laying. She was fine in the morning and dead by afternoon. What is the ambient temp in the cage? Top vs lower? Going to the bottom usually can mean temps are too warm.

Try some branches across the top of the cage, and thin out the thick area in the middle and maybe she will move around more

This guy lived to be 10. He spent most of the year outside getting natural light. Plus he was angry, very angry. He was angry the day he hatched! His name was Mini, but we called him MAD, MAD Mini. lol
