    Socializing Chameleons for Handling

try to literally hold the feeders btw. it can be tiresome especially if the crix are ripping their own legs off. try holding the crickets by the hind legs. if you only have a hold of one at a time they easily rip off. to get ahold of the hind legs gently grab the head/body with on hand and...

    New cage setup.

Agreed, and the dividers as well. sounds like less of a pain in the butt than what i do. which is spline nylon fabric directly into the frame panel. but i do like my option for the fact that i can use green and blue and some light can pass though.

    Radiation contamination?

its not as though an extensive study has been effectively raised on the topic. certainly you have all sorts of publications on how an over abundance of "x-rays" may effect a human. on the other hand you have no idea how it may effect your reptile. why? the studys dont exist. Why? becuase people...

what to do with horn worms?

you anticipate they may become some sort of invasive species? HA. if they could they would have. honestly if i were you i would keep them all and hope they procreate. if so youve got your own little colony going. im sure your cham would be happy to consume the smaller versions. If it has...

    Free Range drip tray setups

off the top of my head i would purchase some of those tupperware/rubbermaid bins that are short and flat, for storage under bed. if youre like me and you already have an ungodly amount of regular size storage bins you could simply use the lids. either that or stuff something under the edges of...

    Getting ready for bed?

yes, many of my chams have had favorite sleeping spots and gotten ready to settle down an hour or so before lights out. this especially happens with daylight savings and theyre running on their internal clocks and i all of a sudden change their schedule.

    temperature/humidity question

the temp gun should do you well enough. i wouldnt worry about a thermometer for the ambient room temperature UNLESS your house fluctuates quite a bit. something basic should do well, ive never really used a hygrometer and the ones i have used were fairly innacurate. dont even bother with...
