Yeah most likely it will be wild caught. But I know some places in china that are very warm and humid. You might have better luck at keeping them than people here in the US. I would give it a try :)

It is a good way to replace a dripper but no a good way to replace misting. Because misting will give you a higher humidity and more spots for your chameleon to be able to hydrate. :)

I would say give him some time. I never saw my chameleons drink water until I got a mister. When I hand sprayed them I knew they were drinking Bcuz they were hydrated but I would never see them drink. Make sure u put his food where he can see it an it is small enough for him to eat. But it can...
