I use a paint scraper to clean my bin. First I remove the paper towel rolls I use instead of egg crate, then I scrape the bin so the dead crickets, dry and moist food, get scraped to one end. The live crickets avoid the paint scraper so when all the mess is consolidated to one end of the bin I...
Good move on LLL, nothing wrong with DIY caages (I have two XL), it's just personally I find the latches rather annoying, and the lll cage has slightly thicker PVC (looks the same to me, but people say LLL's is thicker). LLL also sells 2'2'4' reptibreeze name brand for a good price, as well, but...
Waterfalls aren't recommended, as they are a breeding ground for bacteria and could lead to health probs. down the road (unrelated to the substrate issue).

that link may help u find a closer vet. good luck, dude. you'd need 3 types of supplements for a veiled chameleon kept indoors: calcium powder with d3 (1-2 x monthly depending on brand and trips outside, etc), calcium powder without d3 (used...
Correct, a humidifier can't replace a mister or dripper. I may have seen a DIY where someone did convert a humidifier to be a mister as well, but I can't remember for sure. It looks like for your needs you should probably save up for a mist king.
Once in a while I will find a bite mark in my veild's cage. I offer him fruits or a little green occasionally, and he always gos for whatever is in his cup. Hopefully your cham got a taste of the nasty pothos and will ignore it now. My veiled has never chomped his pothos' leaves to my knowledge...
Sounds like my ankaramy. Today he was pertched near his worm cup, I go to put a large hornworm in and when pulling back my hand he must have thought I was going to grab him because he instantly puffed up and bit me. Little bastard!
