    help fix the problem

Have you changed the compact uv to a linear uv bulb yet? It wouldnt be the heat bulbs causing the problem it would be uv. You really do only need one 100 watt bulb in one spot as a basking area. the chameleon will decide then the temperatures he wants buy regulating where he is in the cage.

    Vield Chamemlon not eating

Mealworms are not a great feeder to feed all the time, morio worms are better but should make up no more than 20% of the diet. Chameleons easily get bored of one feeder and stop eating. usually giving a good variety of feeders stops this. Mine get at least four different feeders a week...

    Question about humidity!

The best way is spraying the enclosure down a couple of times a day. Remember chameleons need peaks of high humidity, not constant high humidity. The cage needs to dry out between mistings too.

    baby panther question

The lighting thing is correct although its the heat bulb and heat the aids digestion really. He may be able to have larger crickets meaning he will eat less.

My Crickets are too big! Help?!

I would say they should be fine. The guide about the eye width is only a rough guide. It corresponds to the width of the feeder not length. As said they are soft bodied and he will chew.

    How often do CHAMS SHED?

It depends on how old they are and how quick they are growing. A young animal growing quickly is going to be shedding more often than a fully grown adult with little growing to do.

    Tail Skin Problems

I am in the UK too. I am not sure of vets in your area. it looks to me as if the end of the tail is dead and will need to be removed. A picture in normal light will be better. What is the red lighting from? If it is from the basking bulb a white light is needed for basking. Many shops sell...

DESPERATE FOR HELP! Can one of the vets on this forum please help!?!?!

Glad he is doing better. Unfortunately once again problems are ocuring with the new coil bulbs with eyes and these bulbs certainly are not old stock. Using a higher output uv wouldn't have caused a problem with the bulb it would have been incorrect ratios of uv to visible light. Your...

    Gutloading an unused Dubia colony?

I would just stick to fresh fruit and veg for now. The bug burger is good but it will be expensive to keep up with their food intake in bug burger. I only give mine fresh fruit and veg all the time with some added vegetable protein. I just give crickets bug burger. You can always separate...

what could the issue be ?

Could be the coil bulb. They are known to cause eye problems. Many say thy have been fixed but again eye issues are cropping up again due to these bulbs. A 5.0 compact is basically useless on a setup of your size. A 10.0 4 feet long tube uv would be much better for the chameleon or you could...

    UVB meters

As you say any cheap ones are not goin to be good so not worth buying. They cost a lot and are worth it if you have quite a few bulbs to test.

    Good enclosures uk

Regular spraying will be fine still but a misting system saves time and at least you know they are gettin misted if you are out or on holiday.

what could the issue be ?

Is the uv a tube or compact bulb? On a cage that high you really need at least a 10.0 tube that covers the whole length of the cage. Also you really should only need one heat bulb for basking. Three is a bit overkill and isn't giving the best temperature gradient.

    Good enclosures uk

The best cages you can get in the uk are these http://chameleonworldmuji.co.uk/starter-kits/ You can also get the reptibreeze screen cages but the muji cages are far superior.

    Supplementation

I know the Komodo one and it is very similar to repashy calcium plus I believe. I would switch to the three powder method mentioned above. It will be much better for a growing chameleon

    Female receptive again

My female panther who laid a clutch on the 14th June is now receptive once again. She is showing all her peachy pick colours and cruising the cage in search of a mate. This has been going on for a good 2-3 weeks. She laid 38 eggs last time that turned out to be infertile. I put this down to...

    Repashy Hydro-Load

I think a lot of people underestimate how much water these drink, me for one. I recently put in a bowl of shallow water in my adult cricket bin to see what they would do and the whole bowl was covered in crickets in about 10 minutes with them all drinking. They certainly do like a drink! I...

    Who uses Vit-All?

I recently got a bag of sticky tongue farms vit all to try an my crickets seem to like it. I usually use bug burger dry with a mixture of fresh fruit and veg to add moisture. Not seen many others use vit all though. Anyone else use it? How do you find it?
