I think what I was told was the soil could cause trouble because of maybe bacteria or mold or something because of all the water/ humidity etc. But, to me the chameleons dont really climb down that low. Is that correct?

Also, what plant is the sturdiest for him to climb on and can handle a lot of water?

Hi. I too recently have gotten a graceful chameleon. This is my second attempt at keeping a chameleon. I started with a senegal and I only had him about a month and he died. He got a respiratory infection. Anyway, all of these posts have helped me a lot. I would like to double check and see...
