Hi ElliotG,
Thanks for the feedback. Yes Google has such function and the problem is if I do find local breeder through that means, most likely they will only serve Japanese speaker. I had few encounters when I messaged them in English they just read and didn't bother to response. It will only...
Hi Klyde, appreciate you browsed the web to find reference. I ran across the youtube vid you shared then checked Facebook to find local community. No luck so far.
Reptile cafe may be a good start to ask around where is the reputable breeders. In the end I may have to start from local pet store...
Hi ElliotG thanks for the tips. Yes i browsed the web and the information is very limited. The problem is I was browsing in English. My luck will increase significantly if I browse in Japanese, which i am not able to haha ..

Hello All,
It has been super long time ago since I was here. I kept panther in 2012 but need to let them go due to internal family matter. Anyway, i am currently in Tokyo, Japan now.
Does anyone know how I can get in touch with local breeder or pet shop or member who sells panther chameleon...
Hi Charles! I am glad I ran into your thread here. It's been few years old but I hope you still keep your chameleon.
I recently moved to Tokyo and hoping I can stay here for long time. I really appreciate any advice regarding buying panther chameleon.
1. Where should I start looking? I checked...
I am sorry I can't qualify to help. But I must say that's a wonderful Spiderman coloration you have there. Blue bar red body Ambilobe is always catches my attention.
I hope someone here can help and when he gets better please post more pictures.
Thank you for your insight. Is that pretty common coloration of baby Ambilobe on the first image? It all looks so green and dark bar. It is very difficult to not knowing what it will turn into, although all will look pretty.
Hi guys it has been a while since I was actively involved here. I was unable to keep these cuties until now again.
And as I have informed some of you years ago, unfortunately, there is no clear distinction of locales since the damn and sire are not properly identified here where I live.

That's what I figured just want to be sure. Thanks a lot :) So unknows most likely babies perhaps?!
People in here are awesome, they have many panthers. I like that :D
I don't have long experience owning panther but from what I know one of my male panther just turned little bit more aggresive towards me as he grows older.
I am guessing the adulthood issued as he's more teritorial and perhaps 'horny'. forgive the language.
Looking at your color preference I would go with Blue Bar Ambilobe or red bar one.
With blue bare you may end up with red bar with orange, yellow, greenish, red body :) But it's hard to tell when they are baby unless you get to know the sire and dam.
Yes, clean lines is a good source of info and it shows the differences among them.
It's still very hard to tell though. Even ambilobe can so many ranges of coloration.
