royden i fully agree with everything u say! lke i said im not a pro or anywhere close to being one! i am actaully just now taking my first Digital photo class right now so i am still learning!
i would never shoot in the aperature setting! manual is the way to do it!
im not a camera pro or anything but ive been learning alot about my camera from trial and error and what it looks like happend to u is that u got a bit of camera shake! to b shooting at 1/500 u must have alot of light...
ive used both SLR and Point and shoot...
in the past year ive not even gotten close to winning a photo contest with my SLR! But b4 i got my SLR i received 3rd place from a picture taken on a Point And Shoot camera!
If u think the SLR is whats winning these contests ur 100% wrong because...
now this is what i want to get... ive been trying to find a great chameleon tat to show my artist!!

what really suprised me is the fact that our neighborhood has been overrun by large field animals since the removed all the fields around us. we have alot of Hawks, raccons, mice, possums...
as for food im sure he was finding baby mice in the yard that he was in since its kinda messy! also...

i have some New born vields and im currious to the amount of time i should keep there light on. i keep my adults at 12 hour days but my babies see to only be awake 8 hours of the day..
