how about an aquarium.. you can have a single species or a community tank.. they dont require much maintenance and you can stare at it for hours watching the fish!
I agree! I have a hibiscus and my cham loves it as much as i do! :) Mine is always in the cage (indoors) and is thriving.. i believe my UV light is strong enough to keep it going :D I believe you can buy them at Lowes, i got mine at a local nursery.

lol i know a girl who has a pet raccoon.. she rescued it as a baby and it lives in her yard and has its rabies vaccine! although all DVM in NY are supposed to unthanize any raccoon that comes into their facility because of the high rates of rabies ... some people love em, some hate em! :rolleyes:

great looking setup! i also did the dowel thing.. i put some thumb tacks through both sides. my issue is that they do not exactly stay, when they are touched the thing will just rotate.. when my cham grabs it, he will either stay on it upside down.. or if he tries to grab it from the side.. it...
ive tried flipping them and putting them near him a ton of times. i have two medium sized tupper wear.. and ive tried different sized dubias. still nothing!! :( im going to buy some crickets tommrow if he doesnt take because we are going on vaca wednesday and i wont be able to get any when im...
thanks guys! i know one dubia got out when i droped the thing but now i cant find it so i think he ate it.. but i switched out the dubias from yesterday with gutloaded ones for today.. and fliped them over so they were moving alot. i hope he'll go to em when hes hungry :o
So ill start by saying i have a male veiled cham.. about 9 months old. i change feeders everytime i run out of my colony. i just had 1000 crickets and finished them all.. so now i have 130 dubias. he has had them before and ate them up. but i think now that he is in a biggger cage, he doesnt...
im going to leave around 7am and be driving untill around 3. will my veild be okay if i put him in a nice box with a towel. and no water or food for these 7 to 8 hours?? :confused: i hate to do this to him but i want to go see my family for the holidays. i just want minimal stress for him
I was just about to post a similar thread!! lol I am going to travel next week.. i have a 7-8 hour car ride from NY to Maine. In the summer my cham was a youngin, so he was in a small cage that fit perfect in my back seat. that was easy. now.... my cage is 2' x 2' x 3'.... i think it can fit in...
