    Anyone have apiary experience?

With all this great discussion about mantids and hoppers, I can't help but wonder if people out there are feeding and culturing pollen collectors. I mean there has to be a ton of beekeeping knowledge and experience out there, I am sure. My cams LOVE bees and bumblebees, and I have to say that...

My babies are starting to color up!

Thanks, all but a few from this batch have found homes. I will throw out some pic updates, they are doozies. Sitting on another 35 fertile eggs from this pair. Loving it!

Is this plant good for a chameleon

Yeah, not a lot of room to roam on there either, and I would think that if they tried to get out further on those leaves, you would have a cam roaming the floor.

    BEE!

I have a female that eats bumblebees like they are fine chocolates. Sure saves on adding bee pollen to her food! Well, at least until the weather gets too cold to find them anyway. I totally agree that your cam should be fine, and I wouldn't treat the injury as anything out of the usual. Keep it...

Is it so wrong that I saw this today and wanted one in my size?!?!

If this thread offends, here is one for you. This one is in REALLY poor taste. I prefer this instead:

Is it so wrong that I saw this today and wanted one in my size?!?!

LOVE the creativity of these! If someone came to my door for Trick or Treat with that Alien outfit...yeah, they would get the entire bowl of candy. No doubt! And I have to wonder how many people other than Cam fans would see dog pic #2 and say "What a cute little wizard!". LOL Only a Cam fan...

Is it so wrong that I saw this today and wanted one in my size?!?!

***Please note: The following contains sarcasm and attempted humor. If you are easily offended, or are just having a grumpy day, please ignore this post and pretend it never happened, thank you! I was just waiting for someone to tell me to fill out the "How to ask for help" form before they...

    Painted Tree on the Wall

Why does the cam painting in pic 2 make me think of Pennywise the clown?!? ;) The more I stare....yep. Going to be seeing that in my dreams. Thanks for that! heh

    Keeping track of babies

I just like to keep track of my keepers vs possible sale males and when young they change color and pattern A LOT, so I don't want to mistakenly offer one to someone and deliver something else. It just helps me be sure, and it doesn't effect them in the slightest. Oh, and I don't do a swatch...

    Keeping track of babies

I use a dot system to tell individuals apart when I have to keep them grouped. One dot, two dots, three dots, maybe an x...you get the idea.

My babies are starting to color up!

Update pic (during shed). This keeper has been named. He is "Arthur". There is also a "Percival", but I don't have a good pic of him yet. Not that this is a GOOD pic either...oh well.

    The eggs started sweating!

Looking good. Just don't fall into the trap of messing with them too much. Let them be, and they will pip when they are ready...definitely not when YOU are ready. LOL

    The eggs started sweating!

The "sweat" is amniotic fluid, not just water, so I wouldn't worry one bit about the color. Give it a month, and then tell me again that you have tons of fruit flies. LOL I probably go through 24 large cultures a month when raising babies.

    The eggs started sweating!

Don't worry, they are on their own schedule and never ours. I have had some go more than a week between sweating and pipping before. You will have pippers in no time and then I hope you have your fruit flies ready to go! Congrats on the progress.

Congrats! I have been a snail fan for many years, both terrestrial and aquatic. Glad to see others out there with gastropreciation! heh

Some of my favorite frog pics amongst the hundreds of crappy ones I have taken.

They usually stop after about an hour, and red eyes have a more pleasant "re-rheet!" kind of call. I could probably find a link to an example. Let me look here...
