Do not buy from pet smart!

Also, I don't mean to ash the store, but seriously? A shoe box size enclosure, glass, large substrate, minimal climbing area. It's animal abuse!

Do not buy from pet smart!

CAUTION: Lengthy story.... So, funny - but not surprising story! So, four months ago I purchased a "Male" veiled chameleon. The workers were unsure of the age of "him" and also were keeping the poor guy in a tiny (10*8) enclosure with wood chip substrate! All he had was a little stick...

    Chameleon Bites

I am not completely sure, as when my veiled turns dark and starts nipping I surrender! Although I purchased here from PetSmart (I hate them very deeply) she bit the helper! The helper didn't flinch but got PO'd.... ya. Just think this - a chameleon jaws can squish a pinkie mouse, bones and all!

Rango is thriving...but my ivy is dying!

I dont recommend fertilizing, but if you feel you must, try a liquid organic. Neptune's Harvest makes a nice sea weed fretilizer. If you choose to fertilize PLEASE cover the soil up with large pebbles/rocks so your cham cant get impacted... AND make sure the rocks are to big for your cham...
