a mealworm beetle ate half of my senegals tail this is the same chameleon that broke his back he has regained movement in his back legs. but do chameleons tails regrow like the common lizard?

ok my senegal is very sick i think he is on the ground alot. he is always having his eyes closed. half of his body is green the other half is brown. his back legs dont even work it looks like he just holds them up. i am very afraid that he is not fairing to well. someone help me. pleaseeeeeeeee.

i feed him mealworms only because i put crickets in the cage and he never heats them they would be there for weeks. he is a couple of months old. if feeding him by placing the worms on the mesh screen and watch him go to work.
