    Mist King

Put the O ring on the outside and boom. No Leak. Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate it. I was so frustrated.

    Mist King

Ryan from MistKing told me to use teflon tape. I have yet to try it. OMG, that is should. I was looking at the manual on my phone (as I was too lazy to walk 10 feet and get my computer. I looked again and you're right!!!

    Mist King

The o-ring is not distorted at all. I used a 9/16 hole boring bit.

    Mist King

It is not leaking from there. I used a PVC cutter to make sure I had a flush cut on the end of the tubing and fully inserted it into the fixture.

    Mist King

O ring on the inside, finger tight and a half turn. Then the second half turn since it still leaked. Also the nut inside just seems to unscrew itself.

I am having issues with setting up my reservoir. I cannot get the bulkhead to NOT leak. Any suggestions?

    Bamboo

Thanks everyone. I would just be using the branches horizontally for my boy to climb around on.

    Bamboo

Is bamboo a safe thing to use in my chameleon's cage? I have a ton of it in my yard and he needs new sticks for climbing.

    Dubia Roach Debacle

Dubias are absolutely much easier to care for than crickets. I have a very large bin I got from home depot. I cut holes in the sides and covered the holes with a ventilated screen (it is actually a mesh for drywall repair). I have a bunch of egg crates in there, I made a little platform for...

    Dubia Roach Debacle

Thanks everyone! I have heard that about red runners. I was going to get them for my chameleon until I read that. I know American cockroaches are hardy beasts. Hopefully the bigger roaches scattered down into the depths of their bin when the dogs started their shenanigans. My hope is that even...

    Dubia Roach Debacle

So for whatever reason (besides they are a$$holes) my dogs have twice gotten into the roach bin (which is in the same place it has been for years!). The first time they got the lid opened and removed the food containers, which I am sure had roaches in them. The second time, they tipped the...

Why is our panther chameleon sleeping on the bottom of enclosure?

Yes it all depends on when he is sleeping. If it is during the day that can indicate an illness. If he goes there to sleep at night I would let him sleep where he wants. My cham changes his sleeping spots frequently. I am concerned about the enclosure. Generally for a cham you want to avoid an...

Help! Got my Cham back and now this. :(

I agree with the others in that it looks like a burn. Silvadene cream is the other name for the cream that was suggested above. It is used on human burn victims as well but I have no experience treating severe burns cham or human but I know that is the cream that is used but don't really know...

Skin stuck, first shed with her

I had problems with CJ not being able to shed. My house is very dry in the winter and he was head to toe ashy with not a sign of the skin coming off. I bought a warm mist humidifier and put it next to the screen side of his cage and draped a sheet of thick plastic drop cloth over the whole side...
