    Cricket incubation

Anyone know what temp is too hot for crickets to hatch? I know it should stay between 80 - 90 . Just trying to see what the cut off points are. I know low end for me is high 70's. Not sure about the high end. Thank you!

Should I move my juvenile veiled chameleon to his bigger enclosure?

Just give him time. Also I wouldn't leave the crickets in all day. Put them in for about an hour and then leave him alone. If he doesn't eat then take them out. You could even wait a day in between to get him a little more appreciative!

    Mister

So I've been bottle spraying my lizards got a while now and just got a garden mister from the hardware store.. Man what a difference! If you don't have one I highly recommend it! I spent about ten bucks on it, holds a gallon. Here's the Amazon link...

Should I move my juvenile veiled chameleon to his bigger enclosure?

Yeah, I'd say move him to the bigger enclosure and cup feed as well. He may get a little testy for a few weeks to adjust, offering him food by hand makes all the difference.. Even with the most unsocial of veileds!

Bite the hand that feeds you..

Ok well, maybe more like shoot your sticky wad of tongue! Anyways, my veiled is finally eating from my hand and is hiding like crazy all day to be out of sight. Ok, so he still doesn't like the idea of humans, however, he's made serious progress this month! !

free range source of uv light

Natural light is definitely the way to go with lizards. Even if it's less time with real sunlight that's better than more time with bulbs. My two cents anyways.

So, there seems to be a lot of questions and fearful posts about chameleons not eating, so.. I thought it would be good to have a thread where we post how long our colorful divas have gone without eating! So how long have you noticed your chameleon not eating for?

    Hey bud.. Shed that attitude!

Shakespeare definitely went into full shed and only left a little on his nose at the end. If they don't get all of it shedding at once that sounds like a humidity problem to me.
