I think I've figure the problem. she's shedding. and I couldn't see it. and from what I know they like a lot of heat so I bet that's why she is dark. thank you all but
so my veiled chameleons name is patch and she's about 6 months (not sure)
Three days ago we got her this Giant terrarium. and at about 2am I looked in and she was at the bottom of the plant and she was cold. and I haven't seen her eat and I'm not sure how to warm it up in there. do I need bigger...
I'd say with the help of everyone on here. Patch is doing pretty well! she's a little dark in these. but she's shedding her skin really fast and it's so cool to see. After a couple of days of fixing somethings. she is now not afraid to move around if I'm watching and she's very comfortable. next...
No he has never tried to bite me. but then again. I never act fast around her. she has tried to bite my brother. however he kinda poked her. but other than that. anyone who has tried hasnt had a problem. try wearing a different color.
chameleons of any sort like to climb up. so if the stick is lower than say your shoulder, he will climb up to your shoulder. at least that's what I've got from my experience.
that is super helpful. Thank you. from what I've read, a lot can happen at the 4 month mark and I just read that they lay infertil eggs. so I need to get a egg bin.
that's what I thought. do you happen to know what age they start to shed at? I was never given an age. I was told they were young. but her head started yesterday and when I woke up today she was peeling on her head and legs.
