We are at a loss! Help A.S.A.P.

She didn't have to have surgery luckily we just gave her calcium glubionate once a day. She hasn't laid her eggs yet we had to wait till she could actually gain function of her legs but the next step is to get those eggs out of there!

We are at a loss! Help A.S.A.P.

Well all my chameleon friends, It has been two long months of recovery for Baboo, and I am proud to tell you how far we have come. Our little girl would not stop trying to climb to the top of her cage so we made it so she didn't have to climb very far to feel more comfortable in her cage. We...

We are at a loss! Help A.S.A.P.

The first vet that we went to called me and sort of explained the disagreement between her and the second vet. She told me in the x-rays you can sort of see outlines of eggs and the reason she thinks that is because she doesn't have much calcium in her body and she is using it all to form the...

    Is she gravid

So I had a egg laying bin in this little girls old cage, well I just moved her into her new bigger cage and I think she may be egg bound. I haven't had a chance to get her a new bin yet, on the fact that I didn't think she would become gravid on the day I moved her. I felt for eggs in her belly...

Super Aggressive Veiled, Ideas on Taming/Handling

Thank you both very much. The blog entry is extremely informative. I've never really watched his body language about being in front of the cage and then not wanting to be messed with and hiding. In hindsight I can see how he does act when I am around him. I cannot wait until they wake up...

Super Aggressive Veiled, Ideas on Taming/Handling

So a few months ago I got my 1 year old male veiled from a local pet store. When I bought him the store owner told me he was pretty mean and that he bit the foot off of another female they were housing him with. I knew chameleons are very territorial so I decided to get him anyways, thinking I...
