i have a female veiled that i think needs to lay eggs, i have the proper container in her habitat, its filled w sand ,i made it moist to lay eggs for digging, but it dries quick, she hasnt used it, any other ideas ? soil / ect , i dont wanna lose her,she is not eating ,even hand feed wont eat ? thanks

not sure how t0 fill out the form, here is some basic info, male veiled juv, bought a month ago,is eating regularly, meal, wax worms, crickets, misted regularly, repti breeze habitat, uvb light ,heat bulb ( reg bulb) , planted tank, same as my female veiled that is doing great, will the rot go away ...
My young veiled male chameleons mouth like I guess you would say lips don't exactly align like my females , kind of a gap in some spots ? Like they don't touch completely ? He seems fine and is eating ? Just kind of looks strange ? Anyone ??
Ok I'm buying another veiled , I'm pretty sure it's a male has the little spurs on rear feet , but it's crown isn't super big , it's only a year old , ifnit has the spur it's a male right ??
