Here is a picture of Rango in his Petco cage on May 25th 2022, the day I purchased him.
And here’s him today, 3 months later.
Looking way more colorful than before. Both photos were taken from the same device.
I have 2 Sansi Grow Lights, 1 T5 HO UVB Light (36”), and 1 basking light. But my chameleon keeps basking under the sansi and I don’t have room to position it any other way that I can think of. Help??.
How’s it look?
I currently am using the T5 HO UVB Bulb (36”)
A cage that is 36” wide X 18” Deep X 48” Tall
All 5 live plants repotted and given new organic natural soil + compost.
72W Bulb for Basking
And 2 grow light fixtures that should aid for plant growth. (One on back side, one on...

I have been super cautious about that. I measure it to be 85 at the basking branch. And the lights I’ve gotten have both been pretty hot so i made them up pretty high.
This just started today. I didn’t think much of it at first until I kept seeing it happen throughout the day, I’ve had the chameleon for about 1 month now and it’s been perfectly fine. When I first got it, it was closing it eyes a lot during the daytime, but eventually it stopped so I assumed it...
