Auto Mister for Mesh Enclosure (No Drilling?)

Thanks everyone for your help. I will start planning for a MistKing setup. @Beman - I saw your thread about filtered/distilled water - did you find a solution? It would be great if I could use a water filter like Brita rather than distilling water as it seems to be fairly time consuming (of...

Auto Mister for Mesh Enclosure (No Drilling?)

This looks perfect for my setup. Quick unrelated question - do you use tap water or distilled?

Auto Mister for Mesh Enclosure (No Drilling?)

Thanks everyone for the quick replies!! To clarify, I have plastic backing to protect walls from water damage. What I meant was I thought you have to drill the MistKing pump into something but I now see you dont! Amazing - thank you for the help. If anyone else can show their set ups like...

Auto Mister for Mesh Enclosure (No Drilling?)

Hi all, Apologies if this has been answered - I couldn't find any relevant threads. My current setup is the ReptiBreeze mesh enclosure with lots of plants etc. and a dripper for water, however I now work a lot and can't mist by hand several times a day so need an automatic mister system. I...

    White patch?

It only pulses. I see! Well the heat lamp I have is not light-producing, its an 80W Arcadia Deep Heat lamp. I have just read that it should be used with a dimming thermostat, so I might have got my setup wrong. Hopefully he perks up soon.

    White patch?

I see, I can't really afford to buy another bulb now but I will raise it 6 inches or more. I have the HabiStat pulse thermostat, with the temperature sensor attached he the uppermost branch. I can tell it's at 27C because when it turns on it heats to that temp and starts pulsing on and off. I...

    White patch?

It is this - Arcadia T5. He's resting under it now, but seems sleepy? I think he's closed his eyes a couple of times which I believe isn't good. Shall I move the UVB higher?

    White patch?

Frank decided to quickly hide for this photo but he’s at the top of the bendable vine. His back is about 6inches from the UVB.

    White patch?

I know about his gular crest but there was a bump or sort of pointy bit to it? Looking at other photos it actually seems normal. Panic over! He successfully shed for the first time a few days ago :) It looks as though the patch/discolouration has gone, but I will keep an eye on it. He has the...

    White patch?

He also has this bump in his throat. Has he got some food stuck or am I just worrying?

    White patch?

Hello, My 11 week old male Yemen is showing this pale patch on his back(toward his tail), which appeared within the last few hours. I’m worried he’s getting too much UVB. This is my first chameleon. He’s currently perched 5.5inches from his 12% UVB Arcadia T5 which sits on top of the mesh...

First baby cham! Setup feedback please :)

Thanks! I have the lamp set to 26ºC just until he gets a little bigger. I will handle him less in that case. I'm gutloading them today :) Thankyou for the advice. I've set the thermostat to 26ºC for now. The UVB is 12% in a single fixture. It's the Acradia ProT5 22inch/24W. His basking spot is...

First baby cham! Setup feedback please :)

Thankyou! Made a simple bowl from a hummus pot and a couple blunt of metal hooks. Frank's eyeing up the crickets I put in already and just ate one. I think I was worried about not feeding him enough as I've never owned a reptile before and was feeding him free range, but the bowl has solved this :)

First baby cham! Setup feedback please :)

Thanks! This is great. I have actually watched all of your videos (SO HELPFUL) but was concerned about feeding as Frank as I wasn't expecting him to be so small. Basking temperature is around 25ºC. I was planning on getting a panther hence the humidity, so I will now keep it lower. Thanks for...
