    Mulberry Chow Mistake Fixable?

This afternoon I went ahead and made new chow from mulberry farms. I prepared it as I always have, adding around three cups of warm water and the chow to a dish, covering it with cling wrap, then microwaving it for around 5 minutes. This time however, in the microwave the cling wrap came off...

Male Veiled not eating/drinking/doesn't look okay

Chameleon Info Your Chameleon: male veiled chameleon, around 8-10 months of age. He has been in my care around 6 months. Handling: I used to handle him fairly often, daily even. For the last few weeks he has been so incredibly aggressive I haven't been able to put my hand near him without...

    Just got some silkworm eggs!

Hello forum, I just got my shipment of silkworm eggs from mulberry farms. Does anyone have experience with these? I read their faq on raising them and read up a few other sources as well. As per their directions I'm supposed to cover the petri dish with a bowl for a few days in good...

    Looking for lighting recommendations.

Hello forum, My girlfriend and I are happy owners of two veiled chameleons (male/female) and a panther chameleon sired by Dr. O's Pixel. I've come a long way in getting together good enclosures for my chameleons and a proper varied diet, but the last thing they're really lacking is good...

Strange bugs/things in my cricket keeper

Sorry for the crumby pictures: they are the little yellow things on the edges of the tube (inside the plastic cap). That was as good as my phone would do, any closer was too blurry. Can I feed from this batch? They just look parasity to me, no idea if they're just meal worm larvae or something...

Strange bugs/things in my cricket keeper

Today I noticed some weird bugs at the end of the feeder tubes in my cricket keeper. We bought a batch of 100 big crickets from Petsmart last night and moved them into the clean cricket keeper. I fed my two veileds and panther chameleon crickets this morning from the keeper where these weird...

    Pet safe pesticide?

I'm told that a mixture of dishsoap/water and maybe some vegetable oil will kill em off really easy as a spray on. Will that be harmful to the chams at all? I'd keep the chams away from their plants for a few hours after spraying

    Pet safe pesticide?

Hello all, My recent trouble is some mite looking things that have completely conquered my plants on my lanai. They've got the plants covered, and I suspect there are some pests on the plants in the indoor enclosures my chameleons are in as well. Is there a pet safe pesticide I can use to...

    Recommendations on website?

Is there any particularly good website to buy an enclosure from? I'm looking for something large and nice, but not too horridly expensive. Anyone use any sites regularly like exo terra or any others?

    Identification of my Panther

Looking over at him right now his belly is a full yellow and his blue bars are shining. He always sleeps at a lime green with that coloration, in exactly the same spot on a branch. He will even go to that same spot and stare at me all cuddled up to the branch until I go turn the light off. Then...

    Identification of my Panther

I do trust Dr. O very well, I just thought I'd ask the forum to see what you all would say rather than bug him about it. But I never got a solid answer so eventually just asked him.
