Totally new to chameleons (and reptiles)

Ok, I'm a little confused. Can the dry gutload also be used to maintain the crickets? Or can it only be used 24 hours before feeding them to the chameleon? I read up on the Repashy Superload on their website, and it says that the insects can't be fed with it for more than 48 hours. Is this a...

    Aquazamp raindome good for misting?

Thanks so much Rottsko; you're a great help. Now, I heard that the raindome is just a container that I just put on top of the screen. Can I just use that to increase humidity? Or is a misting nozzle necessary? I have absolutely no experience in drilling holes, haha. I never needed to drill...

    Attaching branches to cages

Thanks, guys. I really like the zip tie idea and using thumb tacks. With the zip ties though, how do you tie the branches so that it is horizontal or diagonal in the cage? Fran, could you zoom in to where one of the branches is horizontal in the cage?

    Aquazamp raindome good for misting?

I really don't want to drill holes to stick nozzles into my future cage, so will the Aquazamp raindome be enough to produce humidity?

    Misting system without drilling holes

    Cages with pre drilled holes

Are the Zilla cages the only cages with the little removable cover for the pre drilled hole? Or is that standard for all cages? I'm talking about the small, round cover on the left side of the cage. http://www.amazon.com/Zilla-Fresh-Sc...on+screen+cage I'm going for this cage, but I...

Totally new to chameleons (and reptiles)

Chamguy, of all the plants, which are the easiest to care for? Will the chameleon lighting be enough for the plants? How do I keep the crickets on the branches to feed the chameleon? Won't they fall off or jump off when I put them in there?

Totally new to chameleons (and reptiles)

Hi, So, as the title says, I'm new to reptiles, but I have extensive experience with fish. Obviously, chameleons and fish are two very different animals with different needs, but as with fish, chameleons most likely need prior research before getting them. So, I've done my research, and part...
