Poppi loves being in the window! (Open, 2nd story window with secure screen.) It took a few times of being there but she is finally relaxing and starting to just hang out. Once in awhile a delivery truck or something will go by and stress her out a bit but she just goes and hides behind the leaves for a few. But, before very long, she moves right back out and soaks up more sunshine and watches the world go by. 
Prometheus? Yeah right. I don't know if he is more stressed because I'm around or he just hates the window like he hates everything else. It's been months and he is finally staying green when I'm anywhere around. Now, I have to open the door on his cage before he starts going dark.
Being in the sunshine isn't any different. I go across the room and try to give him space but he takes off up the screen and tries to get between the window panels. Then, the snapping and fight is on until I put him back on the vines. He does seem to be running away less but still is darker in color and spends quite a bit of time hiding in the leaves from cars, people, etc. down on the street.
Is there such a thing as chameleon valium? It sure would help Prometheus if there is.
