Swyft is starting to concern me. He's alert, active, and eating superworms but still wont eat a dubia. He turns his head and looks away. But if I bring out a superworm he will turn and grab it.
He's still free-ranging and I'm still misting him and the plants and the fake plants, he doesn't run to the water for a drink so I believe he's getting enough to drink, I think he looks hydrated. The room is much more humid now with the turtle cage and moss, numerous plants now in the room.
He's still being very friendly and handleable, I say friendly because he does not puff up and hiss even with being at eye level when I'm standing up and talking to him. I can reach out and pick him up at any time without a fight. Its really nice but I don't handle him just for the sake of handling him, I'm only picking him up to relocate him if he's gotten off his main path or to put him on his tree to ensure he's getting his uvb light for the day. (since I don't know how long he spend on the tree each day while I am at work)
Anyhow that's my Swyft update, still just keeping an eye on him and his behavior. He definitely lost weight when he became free-range so hopefully I can keep up with his new activity level.
