That is what my 3 year old grandson calls it when they shed: "sploded"! Well, she definitely sploded this morning.
I checked her at 7am and she was just waking up but still wearing her pajama colors. Turned her lights on, misted and fed her and she looked the same as she always does.
When I checked her again at 10am, she was in a full shed. Head to tail, every bit shedding. Two hours later, and you can't even tell from looking at her that she shed. The viv is another story. Gives a whole new meaning to sploded. There is old skin everywhere!
Not like I have much experience but, that was the fastest shed I've ever seen.
