okay, because 7 links aren't enough clarification for me (and at the risk of being put on your 'idiot' list)...haha...am I to understand the dandelion greens you speak so highly of are the pesky little weeds on my front lawn? I can just go out and dig one up and mash it in my blender with other goodies as a gutload for my crickets? Its just 'that' simple? Thanks for your patience! :)

I know its hard to imagine, but yes indeed these often grow freely as weeds in lawns. You'll want to make sure no posion has been used in the preceeding year of course. You can eat them yourself too in salads - The fuzzy ones arent as nice to eat as the fuzz-free ones and the young new spring time leaves are less bitter than winter leaves.

I did some further reading on these little weeds - funny that they've been under my nose for so long and I didn't realise the nutritional value of them, for both myself and my chams. Thanks for the great info Sandra!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the whole gutloading thing. I've been reasearching for the past couple of days and I could definitely use some help getting started on a recipe. Starting with the Dandelion Leaf, I was looking up where to buy some and all thats coming up are Dandelion Greens. Are they the same thing or no?
