How long until the babies come out after the egg shrinks??

eep. im no expert, but i read thank shrivled eggs are yucky eggs. im sorry if this is the truth.

usually when they "pip" the egg, then you should expect them to emerge over the next 2-24 hours.

I know you are talking about veileds but my panther hatchlings took a little longer than 24 hours. Some actually took around 3 days. I was worried and posted a thread about it. I think and sorry if Im wrong but chameleonnation said panthers usually take a little while and veileds are usually fast. I think he said something like. I can check the incubator one minute and the next hour check again and have 40 green goblins climbing all over each other. Im hungry and dont feel like searching. Time for ramen noodles. Gotta love being a single hardworking 26 year old male in these times

So what does it mean when the egg shrinks and you can actually see the baby chameleon in there.. And mind you it is hatching time for them it has been almost 11 months since they were laid..

Wow 11 months...they are coming out. Don't touch them let them do it on their own. Some take 10 minutes to come out some can take over 2 days, just be patient.
