What is My Cham?

Hello all - I cannot tell if I have a Graceful or a Flap Neck? And a male or female?? I have had Cricket for 5 months and there have not been any signs of being gravid but I also do not know how old it is (WC, still growing so could be young). Any help would be great - there are no tarsel spurs and the is bright orange under its neck when it gets "puffy."

Thanks!!

I think you have a graceful.
flapnecks have a 'flap' on the back of the casque on each side.
i belive that the males will have a hemipenal bulge at the base of the tail, and tarsal spurs like a veiled.
can you post a pic of the back of the back feet as well as a side pic of the vent area?

Yes, but I can't get a clear shot right now - will post as soon as I can! There re definitely no spurs, but the orange under the neck confused me Thanks!!

Flap Neck would be my first guess!:( Why are you excluding it as an option? Not a great expert myself.. Just curios to know what were you looking at to determinate that species
thank you..

Here is a pic.
you can see the flaps in this pic, but no flaps at all in the OPs pic.
I dont own this pic, found on google.

Not all sub-species of Flapneck Chameleons have large flaps. However Flapneck Chameleons have a marked enlarged white lateral stripe whereas on the Graceful Chameleons it's much smaller. That is a Graceful Chameleon.

Ok - well given all this info, I hadn't considered the Senegal - I think she is a Senegal. Here's why - the Gracefuls seem to have a white or brown stripe or batch under their front leg. Also, when she gets stressed and goes black, her markings are both stripes and triangles. So if it is a senegal (I am going to post more pix) is it male or female? So interesting to read everyone's thoughts - thanks again~
