of what i read i haven't seen anything about...
if Jackson's eat plants. Does anyone know if they do? And if anyone has a jackson's, what's the best live plant for their enclosure?

No, Jacksons do not eat plants. Although I would advise trying to stay with a no toxic plant. A schefferela abricola could be bought at a decent size for under ten dollars most places. There are two subspieces of this plant and I would reccommend going with the one with yellow on the leaves to avoid confusion. They are not always marked great in nursuries and this is a safe way to identify them from other more dangerous Schefferelas.
